Survivor-Centered Diversion Program

The Survivor-Centered Diversion Program is a pilot project in conjunction with Bradley Angle and the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office (MCDA) to support justice-involved survivors of intimate partner violence.

This program, led by MCDA, works to identify survivors of intimate partner violence who have become justice-involved and offers an alternative to criminal prosecution. Eligible survivor-defendants are diverted from the legal system and connected to Bradley Angle for trauma-informed advocacy, housing support, empowerment groups, and other vital services. The goal is to provide survivor-defendants with the support they need while acknowledging the complexities of their experiences within the criminal justice system.
