Domestic Violence Awareness Month at Bradley Angle

This October, Bradley Angle was deeply engaged in meaningful events and activities as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), rallying community support, raising awareness, and empowering survivors.

Here’s a look back at our impactful October:

The Bradley Angle Gala

Our biggest event of the year took place on October 24th at the Sentinel Hotel. Thanks to the support of attendees, sponsors, and the inspiring words of our speakers, we gathered as a community to uplift survivors, share stories of resilience, and raise funds for our programs. Special thanks to our partners, volunteers, and donors for making the evening unforgettable!

Supporting Bradley Angle helps us provide life-saving services to survivors of domestic violence, especially those from marginalized communities. This year’s campaign has amazing incentives and giveaways, making it easier than ever to give back and make an impact. Every gift, big or small, makes a difference.

Every time you support a non-profit you receive an entry into the Big Gift Days!

Cocktail for a Cause

We’re grateful to Nostrana for hosting a special drink promotion throughout October, with proceeds going to support Bradley Angle. This unique way of raising awareness and funds made it easy for the community to join in and make a difference. Thank you to Nostrana and all who participated!

She Bop Giveback Wednesdays

Throughout October, She Bop—a body-positive, LGBTQIA+ inclusive boutique—generously donated 10% of sales from every Wednesday to Bradley Angle. These contributions will directly support our life-saving services, helping us extend vital resources to survivors in our community. A big thank you to She Bop and everyone who shopped in support of our cause!

Generous Contribution

We’re incredibly grateful to Brides for a Cause for their generous $10,000 donation in support of Bradley Angle!

Every dollar from their donation helps fund critical resources and services, from safe shelter to advocacy and essential needs for the people we serve.

Thank you, Brides for a Cause, for being an invaluable partner in the journey toward safety, healing, and hope!

County Council Proclamation

Our Program and Services Director, Tiffany, joined the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office and the Domestic and Sexual Violence Coordination Office at the DVAM proclamation event.

Together, they spoke about the vital work being done to protect and support survivors across our community.

DVAM Awareness Campaign

Throughout the month, we wore purple and encouraged our community to do the same to spread awareness for DVAM. We also held discussions and shared information on how to support friends and family members impacted by domestic violence.

Thank you for joining us this October to support DVAM and raise awareness. Your commitment and participation make all the difference in helping us create a safer, more supportive community for survivors. Stay connected with us as we continue this important work year-round!

In gratitude,
The Bradley Angle Team
