LGBTQ+ Public Health Town Hall

Tuesday, April 28 | 1:00 pm

The LGBTQ+ community and other vulnerable communities have been reaching out to the City for clarification on its enforcement of Governor Brown’s Stay at Home order and the CDC’s recommendation of wearing masks in public. This event hopes to provide that clarity, as well as give time for the PPB to explain their own internal equity journey and for our moderators to facilitate a discussion with all of the participants on the general relationship between the PPB and Portland’s LGBTQ+ community. We are fostering an open, candid discussion about a sensitive shared history and are allowing space for the two groups to ask and answer tough questions.

The event is being hosted by the Cascade AIDS Project in conjunction with the PPB. CAP’s Tyler TerMeer and Bradley Angles’s Alexxis Woods will be moderating a discussion between the audience and the Deputy Chief of Police Chris Davis.

All are welcome to participate and ask questions. To join, follow the Zoom link below.
