Adopt-A-Room

Bradley Angle invites you to

Adopt-A-Room!

Why? Because a shelter is more than a house — it’s a home.

Behind these doors.

Every family’s story is different, but behind all nine of the doors at the Bonnie Tinker House lies a common theme: hope for a future that is safe and stable.

Bonnie Tinker House

365 days a year, Bradley Angle’s Bonnie Tinker House is home to nine families who are seeking safety, empowerment, healing, and hope.

Our stories.

One participant might be working on reuniting with her children after being torn apart because of trauma; three siblings might be trying to adjust to a new school and the loss of friends and community; one survivor might be building up her credit so that she can start a small business and achieve self-sufficiency.

How can I help?

Take a stand and sign up to “adopt” one of our nine rooms. Adopt-a-room in honor of someone in your life who knows something about surviving; ask friends and family to come together and sponsor a room, or ask your company to match your donation or make that commitment on behalf of their employees.

What sponsoring a room means for a family…

The majority of our participants come to the Bonnie Tinker House with little more than the clothes on their backs. When you sponsor a room, you are making it possible for a family to begin their stay with new towels, linens, and bedding; toiletries and personal care products; access to around the clock support and advocacy; safety and action planning; and child enrichment and family building activities.

How much does it cost to sponsor a room?

A one-time contribution of $500 means you have adopted that room for the year.

How will I know my impact?

We’ll send you quarterly updates about the families who have passed through your room so that you can watch your gift at work, and you’ll be able to share in the frustrations and successes of the participants we serve.

“I never know what’s going to set him off, or if this is going to be the time that he knocks me out and I never wake up,” she told the advocate… MORE >
