Wish List
Our programs rely on not only monetary donations to support the continuation of our work, but also on in-kind donations to help participants overcome barriers. We ask that you check in with us before dropping off donations or beginning a donation drive—there are certain times we may have an excess of an item and know of an organization who needs your gift more than we do. If you have an item you’d like to donate that isn’t on the list, give us a call—there’s a good chance it’s something our participants might need.
Some folks are surprised to hear that our number one need is gift cards—gift cards to Fred Meyer, to Target, to Walmart, etc. With gift cards, participants can pick out clothing for their own children, purchase Trimet bus tickets to get to appointments, or new shoes for a big job interview. Next time you’re at the store, think about picking up a gift card for a survivor!
We are always accepting cellphones (in any and all conditions), paper products, diapers, and pots, pans, and dishes. We cannot accept donations of clothing, furniture, or travel-sized toiletries and we suggest you contact our friends at Community Warehouse for furniture and Dress for Success for clothing.
